Sarah Lau is the Manager for Communications and Media Liaison for the Department of Water in Western Australia. She studied science communication and pharmacology at The University of Western Australia, and has worked as a science communication consultant and trainer for organisations including Scitech (the Western Australian science centre), The University of Western Australia, Curtin University and ChemCentre (the Western Australian government chemical and forensic science laboratory). Sarah has served as a committee member and president of the West Australian ASC branch, and has been the ASC national secretary since 2009.
